Caring for children has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started by babysitting for family and friends as a young girl and later turned my passion into a professional nanny career. The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part about being a nanny is having the opportunity to be a positive and trusted part of a child’s life while watching them grow, learn, and become their own unique person. There is something incredibly rewarding about celebrating their milestones, whether it’s taking their first steps, learning a new skill, gaining confidence, or simply seeing their personality shine through.

I love building meaningful connections with the children I care for and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they feel loved and supported. Being able to help families while knowing I’ve played a small role in a child’s growth and development is what makes this work so special to me. Childcare has never felt like just a job—it’s something I am truly passionate about, and seeing children thrive brings me so much joy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my most memorable moments as a nanny was with a little girl I cared for who was learning to walk. At the time, she was around two years old and would often become frustrated when others tried to encourage or assist her. However, when she was with me, she seemed calmer and more confident, and she would challenge herself to take a few steps at a time. One day, while I was nearby but not directly watching, I caught something out of the corner of my eye. She had stood up completely on her own and was walking toward me. In that moment, my heart absolutely melted. I was filled with so much joy watching her accomplish something she had worked so hard to achieve. What made it even more special was knowing how badly she wanted to keep up with her older brother. Seeing her gain that confidence and independence was incredibly rewarding, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget. Experiences like that remind me why I love caring for children and being a part of their growth and milestones.
