Live-In Full-Time Nanny Job: The Jo Family with 2 Children
Hi everyone! I’m looking for a reliable, respectful, trustworthy, and loving nanny in Boston to help with my children for approximately 10 weeks.
Most importantly, I’m looking for someone who loves God and genuinely loves children. I want someone who is patient, kind, responsible, and understands that caring for children requires trust, love, and good character.
📅 Schedule & Responsibilities
👧🏽 My 11-year-old:
During the first week, both children will be home. After that, my 11-year-old will be attending school. The nanny will be responsible for meeting her at the school bus and bringing her home.
👶🏽 My 2-year-old:
After the first week, my 2-year-old will be spending the daytime with Grandpa, so the nanny will primarily be caring for my 11-year-old after school.
🏠 While at home:
I would appreciate help with preparing simple meals, keeping the children’s areas tidy, and light cleaning while you are home. This is not a heavy housekeeping position.
I’m looking for someone who is dependable, respectful of our home and family, communicates well, and will treat my children with love, patience, and respect.

I will be relocating from Mexico with my 3yo son to study a PhD starting in September 2022. I do not have a definite schedule and therefore, am still uncertain about the amount of time that I will need assistance to care for my son, as well as all of my options. I can anticipate that I will be needing assistance Monday through Friday and maybe some weekends. My son is shy and highly sensitive and responds well to a calm and affectionate temperament. I am also worried about the language barrier because he only speaks and understands Spanish and therefore, it would be very helpful to find someone that speaks English and at least basic Spanish. I would like for someone to spend a few hours a day with him to care for him and take him to activities with other children to help him socialize and learn the language. Little sister (2 mo. now, 6 mo. by September) will be busy at home being a baby. She is a great sleeper so far, loves to smile, and is very serene.
First and foremost responsibility will be the girls - feeding, safe care, nurturing, naps, parks, art projects, reading books, dance parties, snuggles, etc. Additional responsibilities would be kids laundry, keeping kid areas tidy, turning dishwasher over a day.
Looking for ~40 hrs/wk starting in August or September Please be a strong driver with a clean record able to drive kids in our car (or yours if you prefer/have one). We have one cat and live in a third floor walkup. Experienced employers, payroll service, PTO, guaranteed hours, can provide a reference for ourselves as employers.
