A little bit about us
Looks something like this:
Week 1: Monday and Friday
Week 2: Wednesday
Week 3: Monday, Thursday Friday
Week 4: Wednesday
Then repeat!
We have a consistent need for half day coverage as they pop up and teacher professional development days that need to be covered as well. Pick up is 1:40pm and coverage lasts until 5-6pm.
Everything is Negotiable. Well, except your love of trucks, fun, and adventures!
We have 6 year old son who shares his love between two homes. We all consider ourselves a family even though he shares time in each home.
If you love vehicles, playing, running around at the park, and don't mind structure with a side of repetition- We are the family for you! Our 6 year old autistic son is constantly growing and exploding with language and ideas. He does best with someone who is experienced, calm, and who can stick to a routine but also think on the fly to redirect a moment of dysregulation. We aren't afraid of our feelings and try hard to share, express, and accept them in both homes.
A reliable vehicle, license, and big heart are all we require. Some help with cleaning up, meal prep for our son, and shared ideas are always welcome!
We have OT therapy 1x per week, Swim Lessons 1x Per week, and often have other fun things pop onto his calendar when the weather is nice. Consider yourself the Leader: You will pick up from school, plan awesome fun, bring to him to appointments!
