The first couple of weeks will admittedly be a very big and challenging adjustment, as I've worked from home with her since she was born. I also have two large dogs, so the nanny must be comfortable with pets. My husband is often able to work most of his day from home, so he may be around or come home early very frequently. My office will only be a mile away, so I will also be very close by if needed. I will also want to have the nanny meet my daughter a couple of times beforehand to help with the transition.
