Part-Time Nanny Job: The Velez Family with 2 Children
Sweet 5th & 7th grade daughters of 2 busy medical professionals need help getting up and ready in AM (7ish am-8:20am) and to school and afternoon activities (3:00pm pick up in South eugene then homework help or to lessons around town in your own car with gas stipend).
Our perfect helper would help with light housework and meal prep and be organized and reliable and in a perfect world speak Spanish. We hope our girls will pitch in and be helpful, not treat a caregiver like just a maid or nanny, and this will take some teaching and a warm and intelligent caregiver. We do have a sweet elderly frenchie. We love great food and music and sharing Puerto Rican & Japanese culture. We would be a great fit for a college student or someone who needs other work some days of the week 8:30 am-2:45ish pm.

We are a family of three (one new baby) who enjoy the outdoors, travel, music, and community. We are looking for caring, patient and active care for our 3 month old, Junia, on Tuesdays and Thursdays starting mid February through June of 2024.
June enjoys rhythmic tapping, getting her diaper changed (we are so grateful for this :) ), being outside even in the cold, stroller rides, being held out so she can see what is going on, busy patterns, and of course milk... and she is still becoming so her preferences are still evolving!
We are looking for care 8 AM to 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We are somewhat flexible on the time, but are looking for a consistent schedule. We are hoping to start in February and run through mid-June. Start and end dates are also somewhat flexible.
Our ask is primarily for childcare: feeding, playing, outdoor walks, diapering, etc.. There may be light household chores related to the child only (e.g take out diaper trash, baby laundry, etc.).
We have a cat named Puzzle, but there are no responsibilities to care for him, other than to make sure he stays inside.
Dad works from home, and therefore will be available in case of emergency.
