Babysitter Job: The Butler Household Staffing Family with 2 Children
Busy Falls Church family needs assistance an afternoon family assistant. Monday-Thursday (2pm-6pm or 7pm)
The tasks are majority household related like laundry and light meal and snack prep (But mom will give all the instructions). Potentially dog walking if you like pets, receiving the oldest son when he comes from school and encouraging to get ready and taking him to soccer on some days and other days getting him setup with his tutor. There are 2 boys in the home 11& 9 but you’ll mostly only deal with the oldest. They are both neurodivergent and some experience with neurodivergent or special needs children will be advantageous.
One of the parents work for the FBI, so you do need to be authorized to work legally in the USA

Both kids are bright, warm, loving, highly engaging and thrive with any sort of achicory including crafts, math & reading activities, etc. We have a sweet large dog who loves rubs, a large front yard and fully fenced backyard with lots of garden beds, fruit trees, bushes and trees--a wonderful place to spend time! I am pregnant now; we're due January 21, 2023. I work for a very small media firm in Georgetown and I'm not sure what my maternity leave will look like, but I'd love to have someone 2-3 days a week for maybe 5 hours at a time, but I am very flexible on what those days and hours are. Some of that time I'll be out of the house but I imagine some of the time I'll be home, trying to cook or clean. Only note is we do have a 3-year-old goldendoodle puppy - he's very friendly. I'm not sure if a nanny share is our best option; we're just beginning to look into all of this!

We usually manage baby 100% of time. On Wednesdays the toddlers would not be home and we would have you focus on our 10 month old. Just want someone with positive energy who wants to work hard and be a part of our family. attention to detail and being organized is important. We are a loving family and very easy going.
