I have been blessed with very many nieces and nephews whom I have babysat and taken care of throughout the years. I have three nieces and two nephews to be exact, and their age ranges from 1 to 16 years. I also have one year experience being a nanny for an autistic 2 year old boy, named Joshua. It was a very challenging experience but also the most rewarding. Everyday was a learning experience for Joshua, and myself. At the moment, I am situated in Annandale, VA, working part-time but looking for a full-time nanny position. As a nanny, I would provide a safe and loving environment for the children at all times. I would prepare nutritious meals and snacks. Teach/tutor reading, writing, math, arts and educational crafts. Take trips to the park, library, recreation center, zoo. Drop off and pick-up from school. Grocery shopping, light house cleaning, and laundry.

I love children! I have always had a passion for them so started caring for them pretty early. I'd say around age 11 or 12. I babysat a lot. I have two younger sisters who I practically helped raise, I was like second mommy between feeding, changing, and burping. So I have a lot of experience with infants and toddlers. In high school I worked as a student aid at the Arlington Career Center in their child care program. A range in ages infant to 4years. I also took Early Childhood Education Classes through the Arlington Career Center for two years and passed with an 'A' average both years. I recieved an outstanding career student award. After high school I started working at an after school childcare program in the city of Falls Church which is where I gained my experience with school age children. I am also CPR and first aid certified.

I am the oldest of 6 children. My mom had my 4 youngest siblings within 6 years; because of the age gap between myself as the oldest and them, I was like a second mother. I would take them to Dr. appointments, babysit them and when needed, wake up in the middle of the night to take care of them. From the age of 12 on I babysat throughout the summers for numerous families in the area. One family hired me for 3 consecutive summers to watch their 3 children; another family a few years later hired me to watch their 4 children for 2 summers (until I left for college). I am now married and have a daughter of my own. I feel as though caring for children has become more than second nature for me.

I love working with children and have since I was old enough to babysit! I consider myself a very fun and energetic individual who has a natural talent working with kids :). I currently attend GMU and will be finishing in April with a BA concentrated in Special Education. Throughout high school I was a camp counselor/sailing instructor with ages 3-13. In 2009, I took over my sister's nanny position w/a 2 and 6-year-old. After a year my sister took her job back so I began nannying across the street for boys, ages 7 and 9. From 09/11-05-12 I nannied a sweet baby boy, before I began a new job with wonderful baby girl, working for that family for three years until this fall 2015 finishing school full time. Over the years I have interned in various special ed. classrooms and worked with adult special education students at GMU. I am looking to begin a long term nanny position summer :)! I have maintained contact and close positive relationships with all the families I nannied, so I have super great references!

Looking for a full-time family ( who is able to host) to do a nanny share! My husband and I are expecting our baby boy beginning of Feb 2019. My husband is a firefighter so we will only need care 3 days/week. Every week will be different days (but guaranteed 3 days/week; approx 9 hours each day).
Starting May 2019 (our baby boy will then be 3 months old - so looking for another bundle of joy around the same age!)
Nanny has 15+ years of experience and great references! She prefers 2 infants only as the care is more personalized. She will need taxes withheld or she could pay her own taxes.
My husband and I are willing to work with the other family on start/end time, payment logistics, etc.

Thank you!
