A little bit about us

We are a warm, homeschool-centered family looking for a calm, dependable, emotionally mature nanny/family support person to help support the rhythm of our home and care for our four children.

This role is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys children, values calm and consistency, and can help create a steady, engaging environment throughout the day.

Our home is active, playful, relationship-centered, and intentionally lower-screen. We value outdoor play, creativity, reading, curiosity, and helping children enjoy life.

This position is part childcare and part light family support — with the primary focus always being the children and helping the household feel calmer and more manageable day-to-day.

WHAT THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE

Childcare & Engagement
• engaging children in play, crafts, outdoor time, reading, and activities
• supporting younger children during homeschool mornings
• helping maintain positive daily rhythm and flow
• preparing simple lunches/snacks for the children
• occasional outings with children (parks, library, museum, etc.)
• helping children transition smoothly throughout the day

Light Household Support
• helping reset shared/kid spaces throughout the day
• dishes/counter resets related to the children
• toy/living room tidying
• helping maintain calm household flow

THIS ROLE IS NOT
• deep cleaning
• household management
• large organizing projects
• running the entire household
• daily family laundry responsibilities
