The setup we have in mind:

- Babies close in age, so naps and feeding schedules line up
- Happy to host at our home, and flexible if you'd rather alternate homes or host yourselves

Both of us work in software and work from home, and we each have a dedicated workspace, so the nanny runs the day with parents nearby but not in the way.
Operationally, each family would be an employer, and we'd use a payroll service. Everything will be documented before day one: guaranteed hours, paid time off after an initial period, sick-day rules, and exit clauses for either family. We'd like a short call, then a meetup with the kids, before anyone commits.
We follow a loose routine around naps and feeds, incorporating plenty of tummy time, books, and outdoor walks, and no screens at this age. Group chat for day-to-day updates plus a monthly check-in.

My sister lives about 5 minutes away from me and has a new baby girl (Audrey) that will be 7 months at that point. We are looking into a nanny share that will be able to take care of both of our babies. I will need full time care, while she will only need part time. On days that my sister is also using care I would pick up and drop off my child at her house where the care would take place.
