Warm family in McLean, VA seeking a highly experienced part-time evening nanny for our sweet 2-year-old daughter. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 5–8 PM (9 hours/week guaranteed). Start date: flexible/ASAP.
We’re looking for someone calm, attentive, and genuinely engaging—able to lead a smooth evening flow: play/reading, serving a simple toddler dinner or snack (with cleanup), and bath–pajamas–story wind-down. We’d also appreciate gentle potty-training support as appropriate (reminders, diaper/pull-up changes, and reinforcing our routine).
Light, shift-related household support only: resetting toys/play areas, child dishes, child laundry as needed, and a quick kitchen/common-area reset. No deep cleaning.
Ideal candidate brings toddler experience, excellent references, and dependable communication. CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain). We're looking for a full-time Nanny to look after our 9-month-old son in Langley, starting as soon as is convenient. He's a very happy, easy baby. Ideally someone who could help with his meals and laundry. We have a labradoodle too, so you would need to be comfortable with dogs. We are looking for a live-in nanny (but open to a live-out nanny) for two children, 6yo buy and 4yo girl (no special needs or allergies). Our ideal nanny is someone who can be part of the family and help us raise our kids in a Christian home.
We need approximately 20-25 hours of work/week consisting of dropping off/picking up the kids (M-F), and some light household duties (kid laundry, shopping) until June when school is out and we will need full time care. We have a minivan for nanny use with the kids and your time off as well. The kids have multiple camps throughout the summer so lots of shuttling around/care of only one child. We also have a vacation schedule this summer so there would be some downtime too. Must have the ability to earn W2 income.
We would love a self-starter and outgoing nanny who would enjoy taking the kids to parks/museums, learning new skills/languages, and love them like we do We would appreciate someone who can help start meals, help with kids laundry, and grocery shopping. The nanny living area is private with a full bath, walk-in closet, kitchen, and private entrance. Our house is on walking paths to shopping and large with a full gym and movie theater. We're less than 5 miles from DC and Tysons Corner shopping.
