I have three children who we are looking to hire a sitter for throughout fall break and potentially to continue on after break. They are 2 boys, aged 5 and 11, and 1 girl, age 6. Initially, we want to try out the week of break from Oct. 14 - Oct. 18. The hours can be negotiated but would preferably be from 9 AM - 5PM. However, if an earlier end time/start time is necessary it can certainly be discussed. The only responsibilities and expectations are to ensure the children are cared for, safe, and happy throughout this time. We do have animals in the house, specifically cats, dogs, and a fish. So if someone has an allergy to these types of animals then it may be difficult to watch the children in the house. Otherwise, the children will want to play outside, practice their soccer, color, do puzzles, play games, go to the park if possible, and watch movies for their break. If the sitter and kids end up loving each other we will possibly be looking to extend the job indefinitely to also include pick up from school on weekdays, homework assistance, and weekend sitting if needed.
