Part-Time Nanny Job: The Gulida Family with 1 Child
Warm family in McLean, VA seeking a highly experienced part-time evening nanny for our sweet 2-year-old daughter. Schedule: Friday, Saturday, and Monday, 5–8 PM (9 hours/week guaranteed). Start date: flexible/ASAP.
We’re looking for someone calm, attentive, and genuinely engaging—able to lead a smooth evening flow: play/reading, serving a simple toddler dinner or snack (with cleanup), and bath–pajamas–story wind-down. We’d also appreciate gentle potty-training support as appropriate (reminders, diaper/pull-up changes, and reinforcing our routine).
Light, shift-related household support only: resetting toys/play areas, child dishes, child laundry as needed, and a quick kitchen/common-area reset. No deep cleaning.
Ideal candidate brings toddler experience, excellent references, and dependable communication. CPR/First Aid preferred (or willingness to obtain). We offer a top-market hourly rate ($35–$45/hr, depending on experience) in a respectful, organized home environment, and we’ll request a background check.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The C Family with 1 Child
We're looking for a full-time Nanny to look after our 9-month-old son in Langley, starting as soon as is convenient. He's a very happy, easy baby. Ideally someone who could help with his meals and laundry. We have a labradoodle too, so you would need to be comfortable with dogs. Regular hours would be 8. 30 - 5. 30, but there would be occasions where that would flex.

We have 3 active boys (almost 4, 2.5, and almost 1) that were in full time daycare up until March. We are not quite ready to send them back to a center yet but definitely need some help while both parents work from home! We need someone M-F from 830/9-5.
We have a 50lb retriever mix who is very friendly and older but still likes to hang out with the kids. We have a large fenced backyard with swingset and a lot of outdoor toys as well as an open playroom in our basement.
We don't need you to take the boys anywhere (at least right now) but if we decide to stick with a Nanny instead of going back to daycare, it will likely require some transportation to and from preschool at some point. We are thinking this will be temporary - maybe 6-9 months until the pandemic is under control and normal(ish) life resumes. At that point we will have to decide if we want to continue with a full time nanny and supplement with preschool for the older two or if we will go back to daycare.
