A little bit about us

Hi there! We're looking for a backup babysitter or nanny for our 9-year-old daughter. This nanny would be required to come to our home during unforeseen circumstances. This may require you to stay at our home until midnight on rare occasions. My partner, Thalia, and myself work for the security division of an aerospace and defense contractor and our hours can be sporadic depending on various abnormalities. We live in Vestal New York. Our daughter, Ember, is 9 years old. She's a very sweet and shy child. She enjoys art, television programs, playing with dolls, board games, and making playhouses. Once she learns to trust you, she will talk to forever about her interests and she can be very giving and thoughtful. Everybody who knows Ember describes her as a miniature adult and she's very much independent. All that's required of you is to monitor her safety and engage with her. You're welcome to free food in the refrigerator, free Wi-Fi access, optional cooking with Ember (feel free to teach her your culinary skills), and any other activities. We want you to feel at home while you're looking after our child and feel free to make any requests!

Looking for a local nanny that functions as someone that would reduce my [mom’s load]. I’m a stay-at-home mom with a 3-year-old, 1-year-old, and newborn on the way. I spend my day taking care of, cleaning up after, and cooking for the kids, as well as the regular day-to-day house maintenance. This leaves me no time for myself and little quality time to actually spend with my kids. I would love for someone to reduce my workload and function as a 2nd mom in the house, essentially.
