Part-Time Nanny Job: The Deeds Family with 1 Child
We are a family in Norwood looking for a warm, reliable nanny to care for our 6-month-old daughter in our home 3 days per week. Ideally, we are looking for coverage on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for approximately 7–8 hours/day, though we can be somewhat flexible with scheduling for the right fit.
We are open to a nanny bringing another child along, especially one close in age to our daughter, as we would love for her to have opportunities for socialization and play. We also have a friendly cat, Jenna, so comfort with pets is important.
We are hoping to find someone who is engaging, dependable, patient, and enjoys spending time actively interacting with young children through play, reading, outdoor time, and developmentally appropriate activities.
We would love someone looking for a consistent, comfortable, and welcoming family environment. Prior childcare experience, strong communication, and reliability are important to us.

Hours: M-Fri, 30-35hrs/week (with occasional night/weekends)
Responsibilities:
- Provide attentive care for kids (age appropriate activities and enrichment)
- Able to do pick-up/drop-offs for school and activities (mileage is reimbursed)
- Prepare meals/snacks
- Light housekeeping and organization related to children
Ideal candidate:
- 3+ years of childcare/newborn and nanny experience
- Safe and reliable car with clean driving record
- Non-smoker
- CPR certified
- Okay with pets (we have two dogs)
- Able to provide references
- Willing to complete a background check

We really need someone who can keep open lines of communication and is flexible to our requests as our baby changes, grows, and develops. Experience with infants is a must. Light housekeeping preferred. We have a small French bulldog, so comfort around dogs is also a must. We are a warm, loving, and empathetic family who loves to spend time outside and keep things as low key as possible. Structure is really important to us now that we have a baby, but we want to always keep room for spontaneity too! We are really seeking someone who aligns with our values and is open to change and flexibility on the job. Looking for someone to drive my son to boxing 2-3 days a week depending on how my shifts land. I am a firefighter and I work 24hr on and 48hr off. So the schedule will change, but I know my work schedule a few months out. We live in Anderson and he will be boxing in the city. Not exactly sure of times yet but most likely he will need to be there at 4:30 or 5:30. Practice is usually 1-1.5 hrs
