Family of 5 seeking a warm, capable nanny to assist stay-at-home mom on weekday afternoons, 3-5 days per week. We have 3 kids: boys ages 5 and 3 and a newborn girl. You'd care for the baby solo while I do school pickup, then work alongside me through the afternoon: after-school snacks and decompression for the boys, help with the baby during the afternoon/evening hours, and getting dinner on the table. We're looking for someone calm and confident with preschool/kindergarten age-kids, ideally with a background (or degree in progress) in early childhood education, child psychology, pediatric OT, nursing, or similar. Newborn experience required. Must be comfortable with dogs. $27-32 hr depending on experience. We're metro and bus accessible. Hello, we are a family with a baby boy, Dominic. We're are searching for full-time care provider, ideally live out nanny. We're looking for someone who is able to do light house work (babies laundry, unload dishwasher, clean up play area); partake in age appropriate activities for baby; help establish a stronger routine for baby; and be a long term, strong part of our family unit. It would also be a bonus if you do speak another language, but not a deal breaker.
My wife works from home in a separate office from the common area. She will be taking breaks throughout the day, so at some points you will share the general space. We also have an English Bulldog, Sampson - who will be around during the day but will not be your responsibility to care for.
We are looking for someone who is trustworthy, extremely responsible, creative, and a clear communicator.
