Part-Time Nanny Job: The Smith Family with 3 Children

We are a busy, fun-loving family looking for a part-time nanny to spend time with our three kids this summer and potentially continue into the school year.

Hudson (8) is energetic, curious, and always up for an adventure. Callie (6) and Lucia (6) are twins who bring plenty of creativity, laughter, and personality to the mix. All three kids are active, enjoy being outdoors, and love games, crafts, and all things crazy.

We are primarily looking for help on Fridays over the summer—someone who can keep the kids engaged, active, and having fun at home - or on adventures. This could include outings, playing outside, simple activities at home, and helping maintain a positive, structured day.

We would also love to find someone interested in continuing with us into the school year for after-school care if it’s a good fit.

We’re hoping to find someone reliable, energetic, and who genuinely enjoys spending time with kids. Prior childcare experience is preferred.

Full-Time Nanny Job: The Jones Family with 3 Children

We are looking for a nanny / extra home help a few days a week as we prepare to welcome baby boy at the end of June. I’ve always had a hard time accepting help, but with a newborn coming and two little ones already keeping us busy, a sweet 3-year-old and an energetic 22-month-old boy, I know having an extra set of hands will be so helpful for our family. I’ll typically be home as well, so we’re looking for someone who is comfortable in a team style environment like helping with the kids, playing, keeping things moving smoothly around the house, and just being another supportive presence in our day-to-day life. We have two dogs an aussiepoo and cavapoo but we do have a dog walker that steps in a couple days a week like mornings and after noon when we are a bit busier.

Along with being hands-on with the kids, I would also love help with some light home chores and day-to-day upkeep such as tidying, laundry, helping keep things organized, and general cleaning maintenance. I usually have daily tasks and routines I like to get done around the house, and it would be wonderful to have someone willing to jump in and lend a hand where needed. We’re hoping for someone kind, dependable, proactive, and comfortable becoming part of the rhythm of our home about 3–4 days a week.

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hoff Family with 1 Child

I am looking to hire a nanny for my son, who will be 18 months in August. The position is Weds - Friday from 9am - 3:30pm and the pay is negotiable, but around $20/hour.
More details: We are a south Minneapolis family (Longfellow neighborhood) and I'm starting my therapy internship this fall. I need a reliable nanny who understands child development and is able to spend time doing enriching activities with my son. I also have a daughter who will be in pre-school during those hours.
We'll need to talk through the exact schedule, but should there be any cross-over time where the nanny is watching both children, we would increase pay to ~$25/hour.
My working hours will be at the office. My husband works from home but has an office and stays quite busy - that said, he would be available for emergencies and especially to help with on-boarding.
Ideally, this position would be a long-term position and last for at least a few years. We would like our nanny to be registered with the state so that we can partially pay through our dependent care funds. More details about W2 employment can be discussed when we find the right candidate. We would provide a 30 minute lunch break, and we would be open to figuring out paid sick time and/or PTO.
A little bit about my son: he's a very easy-going guy who is hitting all of his developmental milestones. He loves to be active outdoors and enjoys time with trusted adults and other children. My daughter is similar, though the nanny would spend less time with her (except during summer holidays). Both of my kids are very well adjusted, empathetic, trusting children and I'd like to find someone who can help continue nurturing that in them.
