Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hachey Family with 1 Child
My husband and I live in Westside Station/West Midtown and are looking for a nanny share for our son, Logan, starting sometime in October. Logan was born in June and will be about 4 months old then. He’s a sweet, happy little baby and this will be our first childcare arrangement.
We both work from home, so ideally we’d love for Logan to join another infant or toddler at their home on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays. My mother-in-law will be watching him Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
We’re looking for someone experienced and comfortable with infants who can provide loving, attentive care throughout the day, including bottles, naps, playtime and age-appropriate activities. We can handle drop-off and pick-up and are primarily looking for childcare rather than household help.

We are a loving and busy family with a 5 month old in Brookhaven. Both of us work full-time, and we strive to provide a nurturing, stimulating environment for our child grounded in empathetic, open-minded values.
Job Responsibilities:
• Providing care for our chil in a safe and supportive manner.
• Engaging the child in age-appropriate activities that promote learning, creativity, and social development.
• Taking the child on walks around the neighborhood and to the park.
• Preparing and cleaning his milk bottles.
• Assisting with light housekeeping tasks related to the child, such as tidying up their play areas and doing their laundry.
Requirements:
• Prior experience as a nanny or in a similar role with excellent references.
• Driver’s license and willingness to drive around the city with the child if needed.
• Ability to create a stimulating and engaging environment for our child.
• Be willing to update parents a few times a day with photos.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Background check
Compensation and Benefits:
• We will provide a written work agreement
• Pay is $20-25/hr
• If you use your own car, we will reimburse mileage to cover gas. If you use our car, we will provide money for gas.
Schedule: This is a 45 hour/week position M-F 7:30 AM-4:30 PM.

When leaving you will leave out the same way. Pay is definitely negotiable. Being bilingual is a nonnegotiable, it is a must. Daily practicing and teaching of the language is 100% necessary and if you are unable to, this wouldn’t be the job for you. My daughter is surprisingly a really laid back baby, so you shouldn’t have any issues. I do have a cleaning service that comes by bi-weekly, so deep cleaning wouldn’t be required. However, tidying up behind yourself and throughout the day is required, I do not want to come back to a dirty home. There will be times when my daughter naps, so during those times find time to tidy up anything and vacuum once daily. I will also add hourly text updates are required, so every hour I will need an update; although there are cameras throughout our property. Maybe this will go away eventually, but I guess it’s just a first time mom thing for me. I definitely hope to find someone who aligns with us.
