A little bit about us

Seeking dedicated caregiver for our 6-year-old son, Leo, who has cerebral palsy and global developmental delays. We hope to find a long-term candidate who can build a strong relationship with Leo.

Leo is sweet, engaged, and loves to laugh and explore through assisted play. While non-verbal and non-ambulatory, he's highly communicative and cognitively engaged. He crawls independently, is learning to use an iPad for communication and a gait trainer for walking.

This is a physical job - must be able to lift 40 lbs and have your own car. Special needs experience helpful but initiative and eagerness to learn are most important. We're seeking a full partner in Leo's development, not just a caregiver.

Roughly 20 hours per week M-F after school starting late August. Some flexibility with scheduling is fine but this won't work if your schedule changes a lot, or if you can't ever arrive for a 3 pm start. Consistency is key for both us and Leo! Strong preference for someone who can continue for the entire school year and ideally beyond. Competitive pay.
