We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced Nanny/Caregiver to provide care for our 6-year-old child diagnosed with autism. The child is nonverbal and requires attentive, supportive care from someone with experience working with children with special needs.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday: 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Weekends: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (or varying based on family needs)
Must be available to travel with the family for day trips and vacations as needed (travel stipend provided).
Responsibilities:
Provide attentive care and supervision in the home and community settings
Engage the child in developmentally appropriate activities
Support communication needs using alternative communication methods (e.g., communication devices, picture exchange systems)
Assist with daily routines, including meals, hygiene, and sensory regulation activities
Implement strategies to support social skills, independence, and positive behavior
Accompany the family on outings and vacations as needed
Requirements:
Minimum 1 year experience working with children with special needs (experience with autism preferred)
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills
Ability to follow care plans and implement therapeutic strategies
Flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing family needs

In need of a full time nanny/sitter for my 1 year old daughter.

Looking for a nanny/babysitter for a newborn (born December 2023). We do not have a set schedule and welcome multiple applications. We are attempting to find multiple individuals who we can call when needed as our jobs are variable and we do not always know when we will work, so the offer/notification may come the night before or a week before.
The baby is a sweet boy with no medical issues that would require special care. He is very talkative and active.
On the days we need help, it would be roughly from 8am to 3 or 4 pm. You would need to travel to us and we would provide everything needed for his care. You would be more than welcome to take walks with him if desired and weather permitting and we are very welcoming of activities and the likes.
We hope you will consider us. A phone interview would be required first with an in person meeting before offering position. Pay is negotiable.
