A little bit about us

My son is 11 years old. He is outgoing, active, athletic, creative and quick witted. He loves going to the beach, playing sports and being engaged with others. Our nanny availability will be Monday through Thursday totaling 40 hours. Our family lifestyle is busy. We are a household of two working parents. We like to keep our son busy with sports, tutoring and outdoor activities. We prefer a Nanny with an educational background and/or experience with adolescents ages 10-12. We need someone who can attend to light housekeeping duties as well as provide transportation to summer school, sports and/or beach.

CONTEXT: First time parents with a 6 wk old newborn baby boy. Mom is at home and not currently working and dad is at home but working full time from home office. NEEDS: Mom needs 8 hours per day help. Help involves watching the baby (while mom cooks, takes care of her own items, showers, takes a walk, takes a nap, etc.), changing diapers, putting stuff away, washing bottles and the pump devices, etc. This is a very hands on role: when the baby is awake, the nanny is helping the mom with the baby or overseeing the baby while the mom is not there and when the baby is sleeping the nanny is helping keep the house in order. This is NOT a cleaning or cooking job, but rather a hands-on baby caring job and mom helper job. References needed. MUST have extensive newborn experience.
