Full-Time Nanny Job: The Lawson Family with 2 Children
We have two little girls that we need help caring for while their mom works from home during the day, Mon-Fri, 8am-2pm. A Spanish speaker is preferred, but not required :-)
Here's their current routine with their nanny from Colombia:
o 8:00am – Change diaper, get dressed, do hair, brush teeth, offer milk. (I usually help the girls get dressed before bringing them downstairs.
o 8:30am – Make breakfast. (They likes eggs, fruit, grits, or anything light for breakfast)
o 9:30am – Diaper change
o 9:45am – Sing 2-3 children songs to girls in Spanish, show them dances.
o 10:00am – Play time in play area and go outside to get some fresh air (park or playground)
o 10:30am – Snack time or just give juice or milk if they aren’t hungry.
o 11:00am – Playtime in play area (Please read books to girls in Spanish as well.)
o 11:45am – Do a small craft or a learning activity (I can help with activity ideas)
o 12:30pm – Lunchtime, they can whatever you prepare (chicken, fish, rice, vegetables, potatoes, arepas 😊). Sometimes they are not hungry and that is okay.
o 1:00pm – The girls love to be outside. Take them for a walk around the neighborhood
o 1:30pm – Teach girls basic Spanish (or English or whatever other language you speak!) such as colors, numbers, shapes, alphabet, animal names, etc.).
o 2:00pm – Nap time! I’ll take over once the girls are taking their nap.
