Morning Childcare & Homestead Helper Needed – Mon–Fri 8–11am
We are a family of six in Colorado Springs looking for a reliable, energetic person to help with childcare and light household tasks on weekday mornings.
HOURS

Additional hours available on Airbnb turnover days (2–3 hrs extra)
THE CHILDREN
We have four children: a 6-month-old, a 2-year-old, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year-old.
You will be primarily responsible for the infant and toddler, while providing supervision and support to the older two as they work through their morning responsibilities. My husband works from home and is on the property if backup is ever needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Infant care (babywearing, bottle feeding, baby-led weaning foods — always supervised)
- Toddler care and engagement
- Supervising older children through morning routines
- Light kitchen help (dishes, tidying after breakfast)
- Occasional grocery pickup from Sam's Club or Walmart on your way in
- Airbnb turnover help on select days (compensated separately)
- Possible light homestead projects such as organizing the garage or office, or helping with outdoor builds
- Occasional outings to our cabin property approximately 50 minutes from Colorado Springs
OUR HOME
We have a relaxed but structured morning routine. The kids care for backyard chickens and rabbits, tidy their rooms, and work toward goals. We prefer outdoor play, reading, coloring, and bike rides over screen time, though TV in moderation is fine. It's an active, nature-oriented household.
COMPENSATION

Small household purchases under $20 are reimbursed.

Babysitter Job: The Montoya Family with 1 Child
I’m looking for reliable, consistent care for my 6 month baby girl- I have had to change my “care needs” to reflect my head coaching job;
Summer season is starting this week and Days in need are:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday
With care from 11-230 on Monday and Wednesday and 12-330 Friday.
For the months of June and July.
With need for occasional date night sitter (this care would then include my 2y.o son)
My husband gets off of work at around 2 o’clock. It takes him about 25 minutes to get home so you would be responsible for their care until he gets home.
I was also looking for somebody who could occasionally care for the kids so me and my husband could find hobbies that we could do together regularly

Our son who is 2y.o ( but attends another school) and then our youngest, who whom I am seeking care for are currently.

My daughter is easy to work with. My son needs a firm tone and needs to be supervised, if you let him now at first that you are in charge then little issues will occur. I am active duty, so my hours can be random at times but I am almost guaranteed weekends off. My wife is a full time worker and with two days off every week/Schedule known weekly. Our daughter Valentina is a fun, intelligent, and playful 3.5-year-old. She has a social, animated character and loves people and animals. Our son Thiago is an incredibly sweet, laidback, and easy 10 month old baby. He loves eating, tagging along for story time, and practicing his developmental skills on the floor. Valentina is fully independent to use the toilet and is a good eater. She loves being read stories and playing games.
We expect that our nanny will be doing the cleaning up/tidying needed to keep up with the day (organizing toys, wiping up spills, cleaning up after meal prep).
Spanish fluency/bilingual speaking is required because Valentina primarily speaks Spanish. We expect that babysitting takes place in our home. Our setting is relaxed and warm, prioritizing play, reading, and exploration indoors and outdoors.
Nanny must be communicative, proactive, punctual and reliable, present and responsible, and have the energy and patience to keep up with a toddler and baby. Experience with changing diapers, feeding, putting down for naps/sleep, etc. is a must.
This position is not open to a nanny bringing their own child(ren) or having our child in your home.
