A little bit about us

Hello,
My name is Nick and my fiancé is Jessica. We have a newborn son that we need help with due to work. We both work on the weekends and need a nanny to help watch him 3 days a week. (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Preferred experience with newborns and toddlers. We will most likely need 8-10 hours on those days depending on our weekly schedules. Any references will help make our decision. It would be ideal if you can speak and teach Spanish as well which is something we are looking for which rate can be negotiated if so. COVID-19 is a serious concern of ours for our newborn so we will currently require a mask to be worn within 6' feet of our son until things are safer. We would prefer someone who takes the risk of this virus seriously especially since our son was premature. Questions we will ask that are important to us are:
1.) Why did you choose to be a nanny?
2.) How do you handle a crying baby?
3.) Can you cook or prepare meals?
4.) Are you comfortable with pets?
5.) What other weekly commitments do you have?
6.) Have you bathed children, dealt with diaper rash, given medications, etc?
7.) What would you do if our child showed signs of being sick or if he had a fever?
8.) What kind of housework are you comfortable doing?
9.) What are your expectations of us?
10.) If a child starting choking what would you do? Are you trained in infant CPR?
11.) Do you drive and have your own mode of transportation?
12.) Where did you previously work?
13.) What do you love about working with children? And what do you find challenging?
14.) What are you hobbies and interests?
15.) What are you looking for in this job? What is your average hourly rate for a newborn?

It’s evenings from 6 to 11 during the week and then definitely definitely Saturdays and Sundays some Sunday Sundays you can have off if you have to go to church but not every Sunday I’m willing to work with you but I’m looking for someone serious.
