Part-Time Nanny Job: The Croff Family with 2 Children
We have two boys one is 8 months and the other is 6 years old. We work a crazy schedule where I (mom) work rotating weeks. W1 = work mon-tues, fri-sun & w2= wed-thurs 7am to 7pm w/ occasional order over working until 11pm. Dad works mon-fri 4pm to 12am. We would need someone from 3pm until 8pm at the most, 4 times a week.

We’re a warm, busy family looking for a dependable and engaging nanny for our 2-year-old. We need at least 24 hours/week, primarily Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, generally between 9 a.m.–6 p.m. Our work schedules occasionally change, so flexibility is important.
Pay starts at $18/hour. Reliability, punctuality, communication, and consistency are essential. We understand life happens, but dependable, on-time attendance is non-negotiable.
We’re looking for someone who genuinely enjoys toddlers and can balance play, learning, routine, and independence. We value creativity and want someone who can plan and execute fun, age-appropriate activities that keep our toddler engaged and learning.
Responsibilities include toddler meals, cleaning up after meals and play, washing his dishes, tidying his bedroom/play areas, and light child-related laundry such as folding, hanging, organizing, and removing outgrown clothing.
Mom works from home and will be available for support, especially initially, while respecting the nanny’s role and responsibilities during working hours.
Candidates must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and active insurance, as outings will occasionally be scheduled. Mileage will be reimbursed.
We have a friendly tuxedo cat, Frank, so comfort with pets is important. We also travel periodically, which may create opportunities for paid house/pet sitting or traveling with our family. Travel expenses and accommodations are covered when accompanying us, and having a passport is encouraged.
Ultimately, we want someone who can learn our routine, communicate openly, and become a trusted part of our family while maintaining professionalism and mutual respect.

Other than that we would like the nanny to be present, playful and educationally there for our kids for the hours at the house. The baby takes a nap or two and our young toddler still sleeps for a hour or two daily. No need for any pick up or drop off, however we do have a cat that is around the home.
