A little bit about us

We are a warm, active family seeking a caring, reliable nanny to help care for our two children—a playful 3 year old boy and a sweet 9 month old girl. The position begins October 12 and will start at 30–35 hours per week, generally 9:00 AM–3:30/4:00 PM, with the possibility of additional hours as our needs grow. Mom works remotely from home, so we’re looking for someone comfortable in a household where a parent is present but focused on work.
We also have two friendly golden retrievers and a swimming pool, so comfort with dogs and strong attention to safety are essential.
Responsibilities
• Provide attentive, developmentally supportive care for both children
• Plan engaging activities, playtime, and age appropriate learning
• Prepare simple meals/snacks for the children
• Support nap schedules and daily routines
• Maintain a safe environment, especially around the pool and outdoor areas
• Light child related housekeeping (tidying play areas, washing bottles, etc.)
• Occasional child laundry
• Comfort interacting with two golden retrievers
Qualifications
• Experience caring for infants and toddlers
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Good driving record
• Comfortable with dogs and an active household
• Reliable, punctual, and strong communicator
• Ability to work alongside a parent working from home
• Strong understanding of safety around water and outdoor play
Schedule & Compensation
• Start date: October 12
• Hours: 30–35 hours/week, typically 9 AM–3:30/4 PM
• Pay range: $25–$30 per hour, depending on experience
• Opportunity for increased hours over time
