**Nanny Needed for an Active, Curious 1-Year-Old | Near UVA | Full-Time**

We're a friendly family in a townhome near UVA looking for a warm, engaged nanny to join our household. Our son is 1 year old and full of energy — he's crawling, walking, and feeding himself, and loves exploring the world around him. We're hoping to find someone who will become part of his daily life and provide him new exposures.

**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:45am–5pm

**Your day will include:**
- Feeding (bottles, sippy cups, and solids)
- Developmental play and age-appropriate interaction
- A daily outing — we love the library, swimming, parks, and neighborhood walks
- Nap routine support
- Child-related tidying: laundering cloth diapers, highchair wipe-downs, toy pickup, meal clean up

**What we're looking for:**
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain before starting)
- Someone who drives or is comfortable walking him in a stroller for outings
- Comfort around pets — we have a sweet, gentle 5-year-old yellow Lab
- A commitment of approximatley 1 year
- Genuine enthusiasm for infant and toddler development

**Compensation:** Open to discussing an hourly rate or a guaranteed monthly salary — we want to find an arrangement that works for both of us.

If this sounds like a great fit, we'd love to hear from you!

Part-Time Nanny Job: The Banton Family with 1 Child

We are expecting at the end of November, and will need part time nanny care when we go back to work in March 2026. We are looking for someone who can work 9-5 three days a week, and we can be flexible on which days we need care. We’re also open to nanny shares!

We have a dog and cat, so comfort with pets is a huge plus.

This will be our first child, so we’re naturally somewhat apprehensive, but in general my husband and I are both fairly easy-going, social people who are excited to raise a curious, confident, and kind daughter. If you think this you be a good fit for our family, we’d love to chat.
