A little bit about us

We recently welcomed our little one into our lives in September. He has been a joy to take care of but unfortunately we will both work and it has become difficult to manage both responsibilities. We are looking to find someone that can help take care of our little one during the week (Mon-Fri) from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. We are hoping to find someone that is energetic and experienced with younger children that is willing to help with light housework as well (not required).

We both typically work from home during the week with some days in the office. Usually one of us will be at home on any given day but there may be occasional times that we are both out of the house.

Our plan is to have the person we select to be with us through at least the first year to year and a half but may extend longer.

I am looking for an occasional babysitter for my 12-year-old daughter. While she is 12, her maturity level and developmental stage are more in line with a younger child (high-functioning FAS). She is very sweet and requires consistent supervision and an active "play-partner."

First Full Assignment: Friday, April 24 (4:00 PM – 11:00 PM)

Future Potential: For the right fit, we hope to transition this into a recurring schedule of 3-5 days per week.

Responsibilities:

Active supervision and companionship.

Participating in indoor games, crafts, and outdoor play.

Supervising TV/relaxation time.

Preparing a simple snack or light meal.

The Ideal Candidate:
Patient, energetic, and genuinely enjoys interacting with kids. Experience with developmental delays or a younger maturity level is a huge plus, but a playful attitude is the top priority!

Requirements:

Reliable transportation to the Buford area.

Non-smoker.

Comfortable with background and reference checks.
