Part-Time Nanny Job: The Calamese Family with 2 Children
Our family is growing, and we’re looking for an experienced full-time nanny to grow with us. We’re two working parents with a son who just turned 3 and a second baby due in late November. We want someone who keeps our son’s days full of play and learning while giving our newborn calm, attentive care once the baby arrives.
The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am-1pm, with occasional weekend and evening hours available if you’d like extra work. Day to day, you’d plan fun, age-appropriate activities, prepare healthy meals and snacks, keep a consistent routine, and handle light housekeeping for the kids, like their laundry and tidying up after meals and play. We’d love regular updates and photos throughout the day.
We’re looking for real experience with toddlers and newborns, dependable transportation, and a non-smoker. CPR and life-saving skills are preferred. Above all, we want someone warm, patient, and proactive who communicates clearly.

We're a warm, work-from-home family looking for an experienced, loving nanny for our 18-month-old son. He's curious and active, and he loves books, water play, walks, and learning new words and signs. We're hoping to find someone who will grow with our family long-term.
SCHEDULE
Monday–Friday, 10:30 AM – 6:00 PM. Start ASAP.
A TYPICAL DAY
- Engaged, hands-on care: reading, sensory and imaginative play, sign language, early learning, and short stroller walks
- Routines: solids, contact naps in a carrier, and logging sleep, meals, and diapers in our Napper app
- A responsive, attachment-style approach: comforting him through big emotions, calm redirection, and no screens
- Light household management: daily tidying, floors, dishes, laundry, and bathrooms, mostly done while he nurses or naps. We follow a Montessori approach, so he loves to "help."
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- 5+ years of nanny experience with children under 2
- Infant CPR and first aid certification (water safety is a plus)
- Reliable transportation, a non-smoker, and fluent English
- Someone who follows parental guidance, takes initiative without reminders, and communicates openly
- Bonus: a Montessori or early childhood education background, a second language, or potty training experience
WHAT WE OFFER
- $20/hr starting, with a performance review and potential raise after a 90-day probationary period
- Potential for paid vacation after 90 days

Hello! I am expecting a little boy mid June and my job offers 6wks of maternity leave. I’d like to take 12wks through FMLA (6 paid, 6 unpaid) and will need a sitter after I go back to work. I work in property management and live where I work, so I would be able to go home during the day if anything is needed. I don’t work Wednesdays so I’d only need a sitter M,T,Th,F from 9-6 (with an hour break since I go home on my lunch break). Sometimes I have to go to finish something and I don’t have options where to leave my kids. They are 6y and 12y old, and they are both Autistic and ADHD. They need special care but they are so lovely. Older son is verbal and good helper but little one is non- verbal, but he understand simple question. He is able to say Yes or No. I need just few ours over the week days and not always but sometimes yes.
