Part-Time Nanny Job: The Jessop Family with 2 Children
We are airline pilots and parents of two little ones (ages 4 and 2) looking to hire a trustworthy and dependable live-out nanny in Lafayette, ideally who can stay with us for a year or more. Our flying schedules require us to both be gone for multiple days at a time, so we will need someone who can stay at our home overnight while we are away. We will also need someone who has their own vehicle, who can drive our 4 year old to and from preschool if they are caring for him on days he has school.
We will give you our schedule on the 18th of the month before and you are free to nanny and babysit around that schedule as you like. We usually require up to 8-10 days per month in 2-3 day blocks.
We are hoping to hire someone who can start in March. Here is a sample schedule that our last nanny worked:
September 14th 3:30pm - September 16th 5:30pm
September 21st 3:30pm - September 23rd 11:30pm
September 26th 8:30am - September 27th 9:00pm
We get our schedule on the 18th of the month prior and would pass it along right away, and then you’d be able to nanny/babysit around that schedule. We can usually schedule around things if there’s an upcoming vacation or important event you let us know about. We definitely need someone willing to stay over at our house, drive the kids around (to preschool), and take care of them when they’re sick, because we may be on the other side of the country when that inevitably happens. It’s a unique job but would provide a lot of time off compared to other nanny jobs. Thanks so much for considering us!
