Part-Time Nanny Job: The Hoover Family with 1 Child
My wife and I are looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced nanny for our infant son, Luca, in our home in Fairfax, VA. We're hoping for approximately 30–35 hours per week, Monday through Thursday, with some flexibility on scheduling.
Responsibilities would include feeding, diaper changes, naps, age-appropriate activities, and light baby-related cleanup. We're looking for someone with infant experience, CPR certification, and a nurturing personality who will help Luca learn and grow in a safe, loving environment.
We also have a friendly Great Dane named Kion. He'll typically be with me throughout the day, so pet care wouldn't be a regular responsibility, although occasional help when I'm away would be appreciated.
We're hoping to find someone interested in a consistent, long-term arrangement who will become a trusted part of our family!

We have a 9 year old daughter who loves cheer, dance, nail polish, and all things girly!! We have an 11 year old son who loves adventure! He plays baseball and does tae kwon do and loves hanging with his friends.
We are looking for help after school. At a minimum, it would be from 3:30-6:30. We hope to find someone that can meet them at the bus and ensure they get home, eat a snack, complete homework, and get to after school activities.
We prefer someone with their own transportation as getting them to their activities is a challenge with two parents working out of the home.
We also have a small dog that loves belly rubs and barking at UPS!

He is very articulate and loves dinosaurs and hugs. One of the twins is also autistic. He is in the Enhanced Autism class at school. He can follow directions and is getting much better with verbal communication. He is a snuggler. Our third boy is typically developing, really enjoys being active, and can be a little shy. He loves to wrestle. All of our caretakers over the past 7 years have adored the boys and we still keep in touch with most of them.
In the morning, we need help getting the children up, dressed, fed, making lunches and on the bus. In the afternoons, we need help meeting the bus, playing with the boys, making them dinner, and with bedtime. One of both of the parents will be home the majority of the time you are working. It’s a team approach. We also need help with picking up after the boys (toys/washing clothes/dishes).
Both mom and dad work for the Department of Defense. We are a trustworthy family. You are welcome to speak with our past childcare providers to get a feel for our quirks.
