We are a family of 4 kids, but this job is primarily for our youngest kid (4 yrs old). We're looking for a regular Tues/Friday energetic, experienced nanny who could do 1 or both days per week (12pm-5:30pm), Potential to increase to 4 or 5 days if we find right fit. Prior experience w/ multiple kids a must, sitter should be comfortable with a lively household with many moving parts. 3 older kids in/out during school breaks, 1/2 days. Parents work at home. Most afternoons is time spent entertaining the 4 year old at home in the afternoon after a morning in preschool, helping with lunch and engaging play. The older kids are home about
2 hours before parents are done with work; supervision would expand to the older ones (11 and 7). Kids may occasionally need drop-off or pick-up assistance to activities, appts, or school. Parents limit screen usage. Some hrs. may be non-childcare, i. e. errands/household support/driving. No other kids pls. Resume and references required. Priority for nearby candidates. Work best w/ a highly flexible, adaptable person who can handle some schedule fluctuations: Prefer a caregiver w/long term potential and a complimentary personality fit, and can go-with-the-flow. Would do a min of 1-2 trial runs to ensure right match, August would be a transition month with a scale up to normal routine hours. Pay rate would be $27-$33 and would be discussed based on previous experience, abilities, and flexibility.
