First time parents searching for nanny for 3 month old son in Charlottesville. Both parents work remotely and will be home during the day. Ideal candidate will have background in early childhood development, previous nanny experience (3-5 years at min), have own means of transportation, and be CPR/First Aid certified. Ideally, we would like someone who can come from 11-4 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays (20 hours/week), but the days and times are somewhat flexible, as long as they fall within the hours of 9-5. We do not have any pets and housework is not required. I work from home in a dedicated office space, so I will be available and around during the day.
Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a safe environment for child, preparing for and feeding child, bathing and dressing, diaper changes, implementing nap schedule, child’s laundry, developmentally appropriate activities for child, including but not limited to educational activities, reading,
and indoor/outdoor play, and keeping all child care areas clean and organized.
Nanny will receive 10 hours of PTO monthly and 12 additional paid holidays. If we choose to take a vacation that does not fall on the paid holidays and during
which nanny services will not be required, then nanny has the option of using their PTO or taking unpaid leave.
We will withhold the required Social Security & Medicare taxes from nanny's pay, along with income taxes per Employee’s instructions on Form W-4 and all other applicable state and local taxes.
