A little bit about us

We are seeking a responsible, trustworthy, and caring nanny to provide in-home care for our two children, ages 8 and 10, on an occasional basis. This position is ideal for someone who is experienced with school-age children, organized, and adaptable.

Responsibilities:

Provide attentive and loving care for the children in our home.
Prepare and serve meals/snacks according to their dietary needs.
Assist with school drop-offs and pick-ups.
Support with homework and educational activities as needed.
Engage the children in fun, age-appropriate activities to keep them entertained.
Maintain a safe and clean environment in the home.
Oversee bedtime routines during overnight stays (after a successful trial period of day sitting).
Requirements:

Prior experience caring for school-aged children, with references available.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Willingness to undergo a background check.
Comfortable with occasional overnight stays (after a trial period).
Must be patient, reliable, and respectful of family values and routines.
CPR and First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
Schedule:

Initially, daytime shifts for a few hours to establish trust and rapport.
Occasional extended hours and overnight stays when I am out of town.
