A little bit about us
About our nanny:
Our nanny is simply fantastic. She is in her mid 30s and is a mom of two girls ages 7 and 10. She is a US citizen who is originally from Togo in West Africa and she is bilingual speaking English and French. She speaks French to the kids and it is so cute. She went to university in Africa and is a bright and engaging nanny. She really plays with the kids, makes meals, and keeps them busy and safe. What I love most is that she is warm and caring. She is CPR certified and has a clean background check and driving record.
We are doing everything above board, so taxes would be withheld and we would split the cost of the share + taxes. I'm thinking somewhere between $15-17 an hour each for the two kids. We can also discuss if you need longer hours to change her schedule.
About our house:
Our house has plenty of room for the kids plus WFH parents. It has a playroom in the basement and a nice backyard with a swingset. We're in a very safe, nice neighborhood in Vienna. I'm hoping my husband and I will be able to work in the office part time by the fall but we will still likely be WFH at least part time.
Please contact me if you're interested.
