Good day!
I am an active-duty military member looking for a reliable, part-time nanny for my 4-year-old son.
I will need care on an alternating, bi-weekly basis. This means care is needed every other week, Monday through Friday.
My son attends Pre-K in Virginia Beach. The daily schedule for my custody weeks will look like this:
• Morning: Arrive at the house at a mutually agreed time and drop him off at Pre-K at 08:50 AM.
• Mid-Day to Afternoon: Pick him up from Pre-K at 12:00 PM and care for him at my home until I arrive home at 4:00 PM.
Job Details & Requirements:
• Hourly Rate: $18 - $20 per hour
• Meal Preparation: Prepare a simple lunch after school pickup
• Light Housekeeping: Wash school lunch dishes and at-home lunch dishes
• Certifications: Must be CPR and First Aid certified
• Screening: Background check, drug screening, and a DMV record check are required due to the driving requirement
• References: Please provide 2 to 3 professional childcare references
• Pets: No pets

A happy, crazy, and loving toddler boy who we mainly need help with during the transition time during my job and my spouse. I work a rotating schedule from 7P-7A and my spouse is a firefighter and has rotation 24hour schedule. I would be able to tell the sitter our schedule well in advance. We would need the sitter to get to our house around 6am and we would get home around 8am. During this time we would need the nanny to get our boy up from his crib, dressed, and fed a small breakfast.
