Hi! We're Coral and Taylor, an East Nashville family with a baby girl born at the end of July. We're looking for one other family to share a full-time nanny starting Jan 4.
The setup we have in mind:
- Full-time, Mon-Fri, roughly 8am-4pm but flexible
- Babies close in age, so naps and feeding schedules line up
- Happy to host at our home, and flexible if you'd rather alternate homes or host yourselves
- Wage depends on if doing a share or solo
Both of us work in software and work from home, and we each have a dedicated workspace, so the nanny runs the day with parents nearby but not in the way.
Operationally, each family would be an employer, and we'd use a payroll service. Everything will be documented before day one: guaranteed hours, paid time off after an initial period, sick-day rules, and exit clauses for either family. We'd like a short call, then a meetup with the kids, before anyone commits.
We follow a loose routine around naps and feeds, incorporating plenty of tummy time, books, and outdoor walks, and no screens at this age. Group chat for day-to-day updates plus a monthly check-in.

Babysitter Job: The Permenter Family with 1 Child
Wanting to find a long term baby sitter for my 10 month old baby boy. I am wanting to find someone who will become family. Who will travel with us to help out and babysit for date nights, work trips, and emergencies. Must be willing to travel as I would like him to come with us on work trips!

(Less use of electronics, more books!)

An ideal candidate will be fun and energetic, structured and organized; be able to assist with homework and other extra curricular activities; and also be able to cook and clean daily, and do laundry when necessary.
May also be responsible for pick-ups and/or errands, and other social projects - given adequate notice and the situation. (Ex: helping me find a way to organize the play space/area in my home).

I work night shifts and will be home rather late so I need someone who is comfortable staying late and/or sleeping over if need be. I'm also willing to consider a live-in situation for the right person. My daughter is 2 years old and is very bright and has a large vocabulary that I would like to continue growing. She loves playing outside and is a little shy at first but very loving once she gets to know you. Since this is a late night job this will mostly consist of just dinner, bathing and putting her to bed, so it's a pretty easy gig.
