A little bit about us

Mom and Dad are early 30s working professionals. Mom is and architect working from home most days and Dad is a Scientist that commutes to Cambridge most days. Our boy is 16 months old at the moment, very jolly and curious. He loves music, "reading" toys, coloring and playing outside at the park. Our single family home is in Melrose, MA a few streets over from the park. We have a back yard and garden out front and lots of young family neighbors.
Mostly just watch, nurture, and entertain the boy while we are working. He's a doll and has been in a small indoor daycare, but we'd like him to have more exposure with other kids and outdoor time. We welcome help around the house but it's not a requirement. We have a very sweet dog but wouldn't expect you to do much with him besides let him in/out back on his lead.
We keep the dog and toddler separate at all times because the boy is unpredictable and makes the dog nervous occasionally.
Mom teaches online night class 2x/week during the school year. Occasionally Dad may be unavailable in the evening to sit, presenting the opportunity for evening work. Also not a requirement. Our general need for child care will be 9-5.
