Part-Time Nanny Job: The Kathuria Family with 1 Child
We are looking for a kind, patient, and caring nanny to help care for our 2-year-old, Monday through Thursday from 8 AM to 4 PM. We are hoping to find someone who genuinely enjoys being around little ones, is nurturing, reliable, and feels like an extension of our family.
Responsibilities would include caring for our toddler, keeping her engaged with age-appropriate play and activities, preparing simple meals/snacks for her, and helping with her daily routine. While she is napping, if time allows, we would really appreciate help with light household tasks such as her laundry, tidying up play areas, light housekeeping, and any small tasks that help keep the household running smoothly.
We will also need occasional help for date nights.
The most important thing to us is finding someone who is loving, trustworthy, dependable, and truly cares.

We are a tight-knit family looking for a long-term, nurturing nanny to join our family end of June, early July. Our daughter will be 4 months old. We’re hoping to find someone with lots of experience with babies who can join our family long-term and help provide with a caring, enriching environment.
Details:
- Start Date: First week of July
- Location: Cow-hollow, SF (Easy street parking; near-by bus station; quiet and walkable)
- Hours: M-F, 50-60 hours/week
- Compensation: Competitive for SF
- Benefits: Guaranteed hours, paid holidays, PTO and sick leave
- Live‑in option: Prefer a live‑in nanny and can provide a private room (with utilities/Wi‑Fi) and shared meals.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience: 5+ years of infant experience with stellar references
- Language: Fluent in spoken, written English
- Safety: CPR/First Aid certified, non-smoker, and up to date on vaccinations
- Driving: Clean driving record
- Vibe: Someone reliable and warm. Able to stick baby’s feeding and sleeping schedule, fun-loving, nurturing and excited about taking the baby out on adventures (library, parks, and so on).
- Travel: Able to travel with family when needed, but not a deal breaker.
- Etiquette Training: Experience with etiquette, gentle parenting and routine-building.

He’s a veterinary researcher, she’s a science educator, living in the outer Richmond of SF. We’re exploring the option of a nanny instead of daycare…hoping to find someone who can also become a long time family friend.
We’re currently considering hiring a nanny multiple days a week for days Dad is already planning to work from home. Your primary duties would be supporting household chores and some childcare for our daughter to help us to stay on task for work. Dad did take a work from home job that provides some flexibility specifically to get to spend time with our little one so will want to be somewhat involved in the day.
