A little bit about us…

We are a lesbian family in the SF Castro District seeking a caring, reliable part-time nanny for our baby girl. She’ll be 5 months old at the start (adjusted 3.5 months as she’s a preemie) and is already playful, curious, and strong. Trial visits will be the week of Oct 27, with a planned start date of Nov 3.

As parents, we aim to be responsive, affectionate, and warm, while also setting clear, consistent boundaries so our daughter feels safe, builds confidence, and learns to explore the world. We use positive discipline and want her to grow with empathy and strong communication skills.

We’re looking for someone experienced with infants who brings warmth, patience, creativity, and good energy. A positive attitude is key. Knowledge of child development (through school or life) is a plus. We’d love a nanny who is proactive, takes initiative, and is organized yet flexible and patient. CPR/First Aid certification and vaccinations are required.

We have two cats and a special-needs dog, so comfort with pets is important. Most of all, we hope to find a trusted partner in our daughter’s early years.

Our regular schedule is 3 days/week—ideally Tues–Thurs—from 8 AM–7:30 PM, with some flexibility.
