A little bit about us

Important! This is not for a child. This is a listing for elderly care and would require experience/maturity to fulfill the job requirements.

The care needed is for my elderly mother, Norma who has frontotemporal dementia. Norma is mostly nonverbal, has the ability to walk, requires assistance while eating, and any long term caregiver would be required to be capable of incontinence care.
Primarily what is needed is just a few hours a week (4 to 12 hours) so that we can run errands. For the most part, the workload will be very light. Occasional feeding/assistance with drinking and companionship. Incontinence care would only be required should we be gone for longer periods of time. Schedule would require each Sunday from around 10a-3p. An additional day may be needed each week for 8 hours or so.
This is a job for someone who either has elderly care experience or has the maturity/strength to accomplish the task.

Our house doesn’t have a fence, so we’re not comfortable with her being taken outside, and we’d prefer that you don’t go to the park or anywhere else. So during your time with her, you’d need to stay at our home.

You wouldn’t need to clean or do any other tasks—just tidy up toys and keep her entertained.

Late morning to early afternoon (the time does fluctuate some but roughly 9am or 10am - 4pm) Monday- Friday. Seeking a PROFESSIONAL. Willing to pay well for someone who is able to be flexible and work with mom’s crazy schedule (a goal is to have baby accompany mom as much as possible while mom moves through her day), must be extremely clean (all messes cleaned up immediately. Keep play area and baby clean and tidy though out the day not at the end of the day), and be interested in raising a child in a healthy, screen-free, engaged environment.

At some point, the care will extend to two children, but that’s several months away. Happy to work those details out, once we get situated with the one.

I need someone starting week of 10/30 . I am a travel nurse and work out of state, so I need someone that is able to stay overnight. My kids go to bed around 9:30 and sleep through the night. They will need help getting up around 7am to get ready for school. The bus comes around 7:50 and then you are free to go. Most of the time spent here they will be sleeping.
