Location: Idaho Falls by Tautphaus Park

Job Description: Care for three children ages 9, 7, 5, and help out with light housework.

I am working on my doctorate and teaching classes at CEI. I need help while I am teaching or writing my dissertation. The hours I need are M-Th 10am-1pm and 10am-4pm on Friday (18 hours total). I have a home office and private office at CEI where I will be completing most of my work.

I am looking for someone who loves children and can be 'the parent' while I am not there. I would like someone who is up for taking the kids on walks, bike rides, explore parks, etc. Has the patience and creativity for crafts (I can reimburse supplies). Feels comfortable driving around Idaho Falls in a car I provide. I do not expect you to be a cleaning service, but I would like someone who can wipe up messes, feed the kids, sweep floors, on occasion switch the laundry, and encourage my children to pick up after themselves. I like to come home to a tidy house. Some cooking experience needed. You will need to prepare lunches and maybe start a dinner. I will buy ingredients and leave instructions. I'm looking for someone who can bake cookies or banana bread with the kids. My oldest two like to play board games and listen to novels. This summer we have done a lot of hiking. My kids love to get dirty (which I am ok with).

Hours are consistent but there is flexibility to make up hours. If you are sick or unable to come one day, I can find someone to fill in. Several neighbors have offered to help. Please do not feel pressured to come if you are feeling unwell.

The job can be a lot of fun. I need someone who is high energy and will keep my kids engaged without watching TV all the time.

The routine is that every Wednesday morning, both mom and dad need to be on a video meeting at home from 9:30 to 10:00. We need someone to come to our home to look after our baby for that period. Occasionally, both mom and dad will be in meeting at the same time. It will be better if the nanny has the flexibility to come for several hours whenever needed. Mom and dad are both work from home currently. The job is very simple, just need to save both of our hands from baby for couple of hours when we both on meeting. Price is negotiable.
