First time parents searching for nanny for 3 month old son in Charlottesville. Both parents work remotely and will be home during the day. Ideal candidate will have background in early childhood development, previous nanny experience (3-5 years at min), have own means of transportation, and be CPR/First Aid certified. We are looking for someone wonderful to become part of our family and care for our baby at our home, Monday to Friday from 830am to 430pm (30-35 hours/week) starting in July/August. He will be 4 months old then. Care will be primarily for him but I would like our nanny to also pick up my older son from school nearby at 330pm every day. He will be 3 in August (about an hour per day would also be spent with him).
We’d love someone with RIE and/or Montessori experience but not required. We follow gentle/responsive parenting. I’d like baby out in nature as much as possible throughout the day. We live in Fry’s Spring so it’s a beautiful neighborhood for walking and you may also go to the Beach Club. I work from home so I’d like to be able to nurse and spend time with baby throughout the day.
