A little bit about us
Hi! We’re a fun, active family who recently moved back to Colorado after 20 years away. I’m a single parent seeking a loving, reliable, and organized caregiver/housekeeper to step in as “mom” for my 10-year-old when I travel for work (monthly, 2-3 days/nights). We’ve had au pairs, live-in, and live-out nannies before, and we’re really looking for someone who sees their role as an integral part of our family team.
Our creative daughter loves art, soccer, skiing, and Minecraft. She’s also obsessed with her bunny (a willing model for paper hats!) and our 6-month-old Bernese Mountain Dog, who’s in training to be the best pup ever.
Responsibilities During Trips:
Morning: Wake up (6:45 AM), breakfast/lunch prep, school drop-off (7:50 AM)
Afternoon: Pick-up (2:50 PM), snacks, homework check, activities, and dinner
Evening: Bunny care reminders, shower (7 PM), and bedtime reading (8:15 PM)
Schedule & Pay:
1-2 afternoons weekly: $20-$35/hr (DOE)
Overnight rates during trips: $100-$120/night (negotiable)
We’re looking for someone who’s patient, creative, and organized, with a genuine love for kids and animals. Bonus points if you’re a fan of Bernese Mountain Dogs!
We’re open to a live-in arrangement for the right fit, as we have plenty of space to accommodate.
If this sounds like a great opportunity for you, please message me with your references to start the process. We look forward to meeting someone wonderful who will become an important part of our family!
