We are looking for a long-term nanny for 3 great kids; a girl who will soon be 3, and two boys ages 4 and 6. Both parents work from home, and will be available to assist if needed.
Duties include educational activities, meal preparation, changing the youngest, and general supervision and child-care. Children are very energetic, so facilitating outdoor activities in the back-yard or nearby park would be ideal. Also, light housekeeping duties as needed (i.e. dishes, laundry, and meal prep).
The elder child is enrolled in an online home-schooling program where he will attend teacher-led classes via Zoom, and work on distance-learning curriculum on his computer. Some assistance and guidance will be needed throughout the day to make sure he attends classes on time, and completes his assignments.
Importantly, the eldest son has an auto-immune issue, and we will require the caretaker to wear a mask when around children. Also the right candidate must provide proof of vaccination for Covid 19, as well as, be willing to self-administer at-home Covid test periodically. (We will provide a simple testing kit). This precaution is due to the higher than usual risk to the child's health that is associated with his condition.
Right candidate will have experience with childcare within this age-group including facilitating learning. He or She also must have reliable transportation, a valid drivers' license, and be able to pass a criminal background check. Non-Smokers prefered. Help will be required 25 to 30 hours per week, hourly rate will be dependent on experience and skills.
