A little bit about us

My wife and I are looking to interview a nanny for our newborn son starting 7/1/23. He will be almost 7 months old at that time- birthday is 01/17/23. Our nanny should be comfortable around dogs (we have five) and a cat (we have one!). We are both physicians and work different hours every week. Looking for someone willing to discuss flexible hours with schedule known 3 months in advance. We may need weekend coverage for daytime and do not expect overnights unless there is an emergency. 1 in 5 weeks may require 0630a-7p coverage, but will be followed by a lighter week. We do not expect any housekeeping outside of cleaning up after themselves and washing baby bottles. We do not expect any dog walking or feeding. Please let me know other questions and how we go about the interview process!

A little bit about us

Seeking a nanny near Gainesville for our 4yo autistic daughter to provide aftercare during the school year. We can tell you more about her if you are interested, but the quick description is that she's very high-energy, but relatively easy going. She loves to sing, and while she has great enunciation, her pragmatic language is relatively limited, which is something that we're currently working with her on.

Ideally, we are looking for someone who can pick her up from school, and look after her in the afternoon (1-5pm or 1-6pm), including taking her to her various therapies such as speech and occupational therapy.

Also, while we are not divorced, we are currently separated, but get along well, and are always able to work together for our children's needs. For that reason, the weekly custody schedule alternates, and that will determine whose house you will be going to. Ultimately, we need someone who is mature enough to feel comfortable going to a single father's home to help with our daughter on the days that he has custody. We also have cats in both homes, so please consider that when applying.

Finally, bonus points if you like biking! It's not a requirement, but we have a trailer at both homes, and she loves riding in it (weather permitting).
