A little bit about us

We are a warm and welcoming family who recently relocated from the West Coast and are currently living with our parents while searching for a home of our own. Father is an attorney, and the wife is a retired preschool teacher. We have a 19-month-old son and are excitedly preparing to welcome our second child, as my wife is 39 weeks pregnant.

We are seeking an experienced, caring, and proactive nanny to support our growing family. This role will primarily involve providing assistance to the mother, who will be caring for our newborn, and helping with both children as needed. Initially, we need someone for 2-3 days a week for a few hours each day, with the potential to grow into a long-term, full-time position if it’s a great fit.

Responsibilities include:

Supporting the mother by engaging with and entertaining our 19-month-old through age-appropriate activities to foster learning, creativity, and development.
Assisting with care for both children as needed, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and structured environment.
Allowing the mother and newborn opportunities to rest and nap while keeping our older child active and engaged.
Helping our toddler get out of the house for activities, playdates, or outings (a vehicle is available for use if needed).
General nanny duties such as preparing meals/snacks for the children, diaper changes, and tidying up after play and meals.
Optionally assisting with light housekeeping or additional household tasks (not required, but we are happy to compensate extra for someone reliable who can help with this).
We are looking for someone who is flexible, dependable, and experienced with caring for young children. A willingness to work collaboratively with the mother and adapt to the changing needs of a growing family is key. Open communication and a long-term commitment are very important to us, as we hope to find someone who can grow with our children.

We’d love to hear from you if you’re excited to work with our family!
