A little bit about us
Hello, nice to "virtually" meet you! I am a working professional mom with two children. You would be living with just the children and I, because my husband is abroad for a year.
I am seeking to welcome a nanny into our family to help care for the children while I am at work.
Children Background (2)
6 week old - You will be caring for the 6 week old (as I will be returning to work after my 6 week maternity leave is over).
3 year old - An energetic and funny 3 year old boy. Of course he loves to play, but I love for him to learn, so a mixture of both throughout the day is ideal.
Working Hours
You would care for the children while I am at work. Typically my working hours are 9-5 Mon - Fri though this changes day to day. Some days I may need to work until 9 PM etc or on the weekends. Though, when my work schedule changes, the hours are always made up. For example, if I ask you to watch the kids until 9 PM one evening, then you start late for example at noon an upcoming day to get your time back. Or for example, if I ask you to watch the children on a Saturday, then you could take a weekday off the next week. Your day to day hours would contingent on my work schedule, so I would defiantly need a nanny who is flexible, but like I mentioned, we would work together and communicate to make the time up to ensure that you get the time off that you deserve. Your health and having time to relax is important and I respect that.
Nanny Share
I am open to nanny share, if we find a fitting situation for the nanny as well as the families involved.
Responsibilities
In addition to general care for the two children, doing curriculum with the 3 year old 1-2 hours per day is also pretty important to me.
Ideal nanny will have a driver's license to take the children to local libraries and playgroups 3+ days per week. Public transportation could work if the nanny prefers that form of travel.
