A little bit about us

Looking for a nanny for our 4 month old starting in June. Nanny will need to be okay with a rotating schedule a month in advanced as I am a nurse. My husbands schedule allows more flexibility so we can try and get a semi permanent schedule down. The days will typically be 8 hour days 2-3 days a week. My husband usually works from home but often runs errands throughout the day so pops in and out of the house often.
Nanny will need to be comfortable with dogs as we have two. Expectations are to care for the baby and occasionally let the dogs outside, but no other dog specific jobs are required.
You will need to be CPR trained as this is extremely important to us. Other expectations are picking up after yourself and the baby at the end of your shift.
My husband will be the primary coordinator of care as I will be at work prior to your arrival and departure. We look forward to hearing from you and finding the right fit for our family!

A little bit about us

My daughter’s name is Amarra she is high functioning autistic. She doesn’t struggle with too many things. She is very energetic. Happy light hearted and very kind. As of right now I just need a sitter for a one off event on May 2nd from 4:30pm overnight till you drop off at daycare by 9:30am no later. if you are able to do this and everything goes well, I will look into hiring you for more hours during the weeks, I’ve never done this before and could use the help, if you’re interested, let me know. We have a busy schedule usually and on Thursdays she would go to daycare and would need to be picked up at 4:30pm 5pm no later because after she has therapy at 530pm done at 630pm and home for dinner and bedtime routine I do give her melatonin as of recent because she just has so much energy. Some of the things she has a hard time with being told no not getting her way, I would suggest standing ur ground explaining why also helps her understand, certain textures hence will only eat certain foods, loud abrupt noises and she gets frustrated sometimes for no reason or very small things, other than that she is very playful and fun to be around. She loves any kind of games. Anything that’s engaging reactive hands on arts and crafts, coloring and sensory toys. We have many things to do around the house that she loves. we are still potty training she can use the toilet, She just has to be reminded sometimes especially when she’s busy doing something that she’s enjoying. She does have a hard time leaving therapy because she has so much fun. No candy or sweets after 5pm, she will try just say too late. Just keep up with cleaning as you go, and okay if you can’t. Just make sure dishes are done and garbage is taken out if full. She eats breakfast at school but will need dinner. I will stock the fridge. Milk at bedtime is fine, no juice only with dinner and brushing teeth if you can get her too do it, I try to make it fun for her. Always helps.
