I am a mom breaking generational trauma and therefore have had to make the hard decision to go no contact with my family shortly after my son was born. I don’t have the village I thought I would. Finding someone to watch my son feels nearly impossible as I don’t have many people I really trust in my life right now.
I am able to pay $14-17 per hour and would only need a sitter once or twice a month so I can have a date night with my husband every once in a while.
My son is 3, my husband and I try to practice new age / gentle parenting methods. My son is very silly, cool and knows how to have a good time.
He loves to play Roblox, listening to good music, playing outside, reading books ect.
If you like animals our house will be fun for you as well haha
We have a small zoo consisting of a white pug named Murphy, two cats (lucki & baby), 6 ducks (Henry, Loretta, Jojo, Linda, Louann & weilynn) & 3 chickens (chickoletta, Shelly & chicky)
I definitely don’t require anything care related for the animals but feel free to hang out with them as they are all friendly and my son will probably want to show them to you.
I am open to hiring another parent with children. You would be able to bring your children to work with you for added flex-ability (and my son would love having some friends around.)
I don’t necessarily need someone with an extensive professional childcare background, just someone who is good with kids, trustworthy, and kind.
Like I said I would only need someone to watch him one or two times per month in the late afternoon/evening. 1-4 hours per visit. I want to meet before making any hiring decisions to get a feel for each other and allow my son to understand he will be safe and in good hands.
