A little bit about us
I reside on the South Side of Binghamton and am seeking a serious caregiver for my 4-year-old son. This position will require coming to my home or picking my child up from MacArthur Elementary School and providing after school care. This will be based on my work schedule. There may also be opportunities to care for my child when I am running errands on non-work days or date nights. This position will require 2-3 days a week and between 10-12 hrs per week. Please be advised that days & hours are subject to change, so you must have flexibility. I would encourage high school seniors, college students, or someone seeking extra funds to inquire.
I am seeking to fill this position by 1st week of April 2025.
The position includes super light housekeeping (concerning my child's area only), feeding my child, engaging with my child, & participating in learning activities.
Application, screening & background checks and agreement to contract will be completed before the start date. References are accepted.
Please only serious, committed, compassionate, trustworthy, dedicated, child-loving inquiries.
COVID-19 vaccination status is not necessary.
Caregiver services will be paid in cash biweekly.
Please feel free to message me.
Thank you. Best!

Monday-Thursday I need someone to wake the oldest around 12, give him his medicine and get him dressed for school before putting him on the bus. While he’s away, you’d need to care for the younger one. When the oldest returns around 4:30, you need to feed them both before settling them for their nap. On Fridays, when the oldest is done with school, I will need you to drop them to their father’s house roughly 5 min drive away.
Sometimes they wake up far earlier than noon, and you would have to wake up with them. When they wake up earlier, you can end your shift that much earlier :)
With the exception of preparing them lunch, there aren’t many household chores I need help with. If you could just pick up after the boys as they go, do light sweeping and put dishes in the dishwasher that’s about it.
Neither are potty trained yet.
My husband and I work opposite schedules so it’s very hard for us to find time to sleep or relax while caring for the children Monday-Friday. We will be home most times you watch the children but will be getting sleep for work or making appointments. I have several health problems that make it hard to care for the boys consistently.
You will have your own bedroom, mini fridge, closet and dresser. You’ll have full access to several premium streaming services. You are more than welcome to make use of anything in the main fridge or cabinets, washing machine, and anything you need to be comfortable. If you’re interested in exercise I can put you on our gym plan. We are very close to a bank, grocery store, hospital, bus line, and many other amenities.
